For those of you who had signed up to get e mail updates when I posted a new entry, you may have noticed a slew of updates lately. This was due to a site called Travelpod shutting down their travel website. I had used them for our 2012 Europe Blog and also was slowly publishing our Colorado trail Journal that I kept for the 3 years that we hiked it.
As a result of them shutting down, we were able to save our journals from their site and add them to our CNC Adventures website. Unfortunately, two things occurred when we did this. The first was that when we downloaded the entries to our website, it has been sending out update e:mails for each of the 138 entries that we transferred. This is why some of you may have been inundated with these all at once while others have been getting several e mails a day. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope you did not unsubscribe because of it. The second thing is that because of their transfer format, the attached pictures on each entry were not transferred with their associated entries. Instead, I received a file of all the images and have to individually add the photos back to their respective blogs. I am going to do this but it does take time so you may get occasional updates for these older entries as I add the pictures and re publish them. Again I apologize for the inconvenience, but I want the entries to be saved as they were originally posted. I believe they are good reading and worth looking at again but feel free to ignore the older posts if you want.
I should start posting a current journal of our upcoming Canada trip which you can read about in my next post. That trip will start in earnest on July 23rd. This is a labor of love for me that I hope you find both interesting and informative. Remember; Dream, Explore, and Discover. Whatever phase of that saying you are in, enjoy it, as it all makes life better.
Be safe and have a bunch of fun. Don’t get caught at low tide at the Bay of Fundy!
Low Tide would be OK, High Tide is another story!
